Marketing[Domestic Promotion] [Australian Exports] [International Promotion] Australia produces about 120,000 tonne of table grapes annually. Just over half of the grapes produced are consumed domestically and the remaining 45% exported to an increasing number of markets around the world. To assist with marketing their fruit Australian table grape growers pay a marketing levy for domestic and international promotion campaigns. The campaigns are developed by Horticulture Australia (HAL) and the table grape marketing Industry Advisory Committee and managed by HAL. The domestic marketing campaign aims to increase domestic demand for Australian table grapes whilst increasing grower returns. The international marketing program includes areas of market access, market development and market promotion that work together to grow the table grape export market.
